The menu is constantly updated depending on the season and available ingredients. You can always choose from Czech dishes with Mediterranean flare and taste of France, which will be prepared for you by chef and owner Josef Šámal with his team of professional chefs. The team focuses on using regional products. You must try the lamb, which is brought in from a nearby farm and the local cider or beer from Rohozecký brewery. If you are visiting during the summer months, you can also enjoy the outdoor terrace seating. After dinner, take your date for a romantic walk along the pond. In winter, Ábelův mlýn is just as magical, especially when you sit by the crackling fire place.
The mill organizes twice a year Jarmark (farmers’ market), where you can try local produce and specialties either directly from the chefs of the restaurant or from local farmers and manufacturers. If you go to the Ábelův mlýn for something tasty, take a tour of Hrubý Rohozec chateau or go hiking to the beautiful countryside of Český ráj.
