They dreamed of opening a family inn, nestled into the most beautiful nature. When British-Czech husband and wife duo found this 200 year-old gem, they embarked on that dream, moved out of Prague and thoughtfully renovated the historic building. Paul and Monika created a cottage that offers peace and calm, in encased by a pristine garden, complete with a pool.

The ground floor offers a pleasant common room with a freestanding fireplace. Doubling as a breakfast room, this is also where you’ll find reading material, games, coloring pencils, maps and tourist information. The cottage rents as a whole and contains three ensuite bedrooms - one on the ground floor and two upstairs - that feature many wooden elements, namely the beds, floorboards and wardrobes. You’ll love the homey style and thoughtful details.

Strategic position

The cottage is perfectly placed for discovering Bohemian Paradise, replete with countless historic monuments and natural sites. Most are only 30 minutes away by car. What’s more, the stunning Krkonoše Mountains are just a 40 minute car ride away.

Even in the winter

We heartily recommend the cross country trials in Lomnice, but there are also great slopes nearby as well as a perfect sledding hill just behind the cottage.

Beautiful nature

The cottage is located in the wide valley of the stream Popelka (Cinderella) and sits just on the edge of the village with beautiful views across the surrounding landscape. Just beyond the doorstep await various walking and hiking paths, as well as a mountain biking path that runs just behind the cottage. As far as the eye can see, it’s all fields, forests and peaks with lookouts.

Paradise for kids

This place really shines in the summer, especially for the kids. They won’t be able to get enough of the pool, slide, swing and trampoline in the garden.
