A British couple Angie and Neil Harbury have built many years ago a very unique place in the south Bohemian town Tábor. They reconstructed a historic building at the Žižkovo square into a high quality four-star hotel with a beautiful panorama view of the historic city center. The staff is very nice and accommodating and will make all your wishes come true.
Do not miss visiting the local restaurant Goldie that has been very popular and among top restaurants in the Grand Restaurant – Maurer selection. The restaurant has impressive high ceilings supported by elegant pillars and statues from local and well-known Czech artists. Last but not least the culinary masterpieces of head chef Martin Svatek will have guests returning.
Hotel offers 22 rooms and the most beautiful one is the Presidential suite that has a gorgeous view of the ancient Žižka square. Aside from the view, the apartment has a beautiful historic furniture, huge bed and a bathroom with a Jacuzzi. Other rooms are no less great, they have floor heating and super comfy beds surrounded by historic furniture.
What can you do there
Directly in the hotel you can use a luxurious wellness spa center where you can go to finish sauna, private Jacuzzi or get a wrap or a massage. During the day, take a walk around the center, which is a heritage site. The town Tábor was built by the Hussites and the traces of that are visible everywhere. You can also visit a Hussite museum, old Town Hall and the Kotnov tower. In summer a great place to cool down is the Jordán pond, which has a beautifully renovated beach. The Tábor area is full of bike paths and hiking trips.
