The small town of Toblach, or Dobbiaco in Italian, is a hidden treasure of South Tyrol. Trust us, we've been coming back here for years and we're still enjoying it. In winter, it's a paradise for cross-country skiers; if you prefer downhill skiing, you can choose from several nearby resorts. In summer, you can get on your bike or feet and explore the beauty of the local mountains.

Our tips

Generous space

The reconstructed rooms are amazingly spacious and yet cosy. We really felt great here. Snuggle in the reading nook by the window with a book that's been on your list for a while.

Fancy a drink?

It's not far; actually, there's a stylish bar in the hotel where you can have a glass of good wine, a long drink or something a bit stronger. The fireplace will warm you up in winter.

Toblach

Many different shops, bakeries and great restaurants - all of that awaits you in this little town you might have never heard of. Our secret tip is to go to the local winter stadium for a beer in the evening.

Tre Cime

The famous three rocky peaks, the signature feature of the Dolomites, are must-see; they are not that far from here. Take a trip, whether in summer or winter, you won't regret it.
