When the owners purchased this dilapidated gamekeeper’s house and its adjoining barn, everyone told them to tear the place down and start anew. But they didn’t give in. They repaired the 100 year old barn and readied it to welcome all of those who need to escape the city and find calm, rest and the best company: nature itself.

The renovation was designed to preserve as much of the barn's atmosphere as possible while meeting the demands of modern men for a comfortable holiday. I wished to protect and guide the house and the Barn in such a way as to help preserve at least a fraction of the legacy of a rare and exciting man, PRINCE JOHN II. ...whose values in life are united with mine... So perhaps he would be pleased.
