This finely renovated historic house, surrounded by fields and forests, stands on the shore of the river Svratka, the diving line between Bohemia and Moravia. Thus the inn's name Na Čechách, meaning on the Czech (Bohemian) lands. Forget about your car - this is a place best explored on foot during the day and best enjoyed with a glass of good wine in the garden at night.

In the morning, the smell of pancakes pulls you out of bed, and on your way to a decadent breakfast, the cuddly cat Felix brushes against you leg. You barely felt like a guest in the beginning and by now you feel fully at home. On colder days, the place fills with the welcoming smell of wood and warmth radiating from the fireplace. If you really want to make merry, order a glass of sparkling wine or champagne with breakfast.

Groomed cross country trails wind their way to the nearby town Nové Město na Moravě. The owners plan on grooming their own trails right by the house, but if downhill is more your jam, not to worry, the slopes are close by.

Guaranteed by the limited number of rooms - just five doubles, with extra cots available. And while the staff will happily take care of your kiddos, don’t expect any shrieking here. The owner’s hope for the inn to be a place of calm, quiet serenity.

When the autumn mist rolls in, take a walk to the nearby rocks Prosička and relish the enchanted atmosphere. For another magical experience, head to the Štarkov castle ruins, overgrown with forest, beautifully mysterious.
