Our tips
Česká Kamenice
This unobtrusive town near Děčín in northern Bohemia is worth a visit. Its centre is small but picturesque. Stroll through the local streets and visit the castle ruins above the town or the surrounding viewpoints.
Forest park with a surprise
If you travel with children, take them for a walk in the nearby forest park. There, a surprise awaits them in the form of small mills - in the park, you can find seven model houses made of concrete castings and larch wood.
The Lusatian Mountains
Often neglected by tourists, the Lusatian Mountains are full of beautiful trails for hikers and cyclists. Head to the Panská Rock, the romantic Kytlice, the ruins of Tolštejn Castle or the neighbouring Jedlová lookout tower.
Renowned bakery
Pick up some fresh rolls at Martin Bakery, renowned far and wide. Especially during the weekend, people wait in queues for delicious pastries in the morning. But don´t worry - there is plenty for everyone.
The Bohemian Switzerland
The youngest Czech natural park is just a stone´s throw away. We recommend a hike to the Jetřichovice Rocks, the Šaunštejn Castle or the Pravčická Gate.
